COVID-19: Grant funding applications

Please see below, a message from Wenta's CEO, Ed Jordan, with an update on grant funding applications:

Dear Clients,

I hope this message finds you well during these uncertain times.

As part of our campaign to enable small businesses to access the grant funding of £10,000, as announced by the Government, we are able to provide you with the following update:

A large majority of Wenta clients and other small businesses receive small business rates relief known as SBRR and Wenta are pleased to inform you that we have been able to secure a copy of the grant application document, along with the questions that you will be asked to answer for as part of the application process, (click here to view).

I urge you to review the above document so that you can prepare yourself effectively with the required information and paperwork that is required, this will help to speed up the application process with whichever Local Authority you are a part of.

I can see from the vast majority of the emails that I am receiving and the feedback from our staff providing our services online, by phone and face-to-face, that small businesses are suffering. So, not only do I urge you to complete this documentation, I ask that you pass on this information to any other small businesses that you feel would benefit from this advice and information, to help support your network.

The moment we see evidence of the application going live, we will be back in touch to notify you.

In addition to the above, we will continue to petition for the small businesses that fall outside of the SBRR scheme, and we understand that tonight there will be a Government announcement in relation to support for those who are self-employed.
