Action Zero Partnerships
Wenta are proud to have partnered with a number of organisations to support SME's in various locations around the UK. These include Hertsmere Borough Council, Watford Borough Council, Manchester City Council, Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council and Stevenage Borough Council.
In August 2022, Wenta committed to support 100 Stevenage businesses through Action Zero. As a result of this partnership, we are delighted to have over-performed - Stevenage Borough Council are intending further commitment for 2024 - and we have launched some terrific sustainable journeys.
Pearldrop
Pearldrop are a digital production company, producing top-quality videos and animations for websites, to target clients marketing, training and broadcast needs. They are finding that clients are increasingly asking about a sustainability policy, and as an organisation, Pearldrop want to look after the planet.
Joining Wenta's Action Zero service, Pearldrop were eligible for an upgrade to the Gold membership, courtesy of Stevenage Borough Council. As well as a range of training and E-learning modules, as part of her Gold membership, Pearldrop were able to benefit from tailored coaching session looking at the business’ carbon footprinting to receive personalised reports focused on reducing their emissions.
Director of Pearldrop, Denise Austin says "It is crucial for businesses to consider their sustainability and carbon footprint to ensure they can work on reducing the impact on our climate. This is particularly true when considering how larger entities already have regulations they must comply with in relation to contributing in achieving the net zero target, this is likely to reach SME’s in the near future."
We are very pleased to be a part of Pearldrop’ s Net Zero journey, and are excited to carry on guiding Denise with her business.
