Watford Community Sports & Education Trust

As a charitable organisation with over 60 staff, the Trust are inspired to make a genuine difference in their community:

We want to represent Watford FC as a family club by making a positive difference for all, through sport, physical activity and learning in surrounding communities, to improve their lives.”

Accessing content through Wenta webinars and e-learning resources, receiving tailored one-to-one support through regular meetings, Steve Williams, the Trust’s Head of Facilities and Inclusion and, Ross Elliott, Environmental Sustainability Officer, are seeing positive progress:

We have been provided with tools that have helped us get an understanding of our Carbon Footprint, and kickstart our sustainability and Net Zero journeys.

With big ambitions, the Trust is working hard to ensure compliance with the Premier League Charitable Fund, and the English Football League Trust’s Capability Code of Practice, showing their commitment to transforming into a more sustainable organisation.

Thanks to the Council, over 300 Watford businesses ranging from care to retail have started their Net Zero journey, receiving over 350 hours of support.

Carbon footprinting is a vital step for gaining access to supply chains and winning new custom, so don't miss out on this opportunity and the wider benefits on offer from membership of Wenta's Action Zero options.
